Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about investing with Jeetay

Getting Started

What is the minimum amount of investment you accept?

The minimum amount Jeetay accepts is Rs. 50 lakhs.

How do I get started?

Resident clients must open demat and pooled bank accounts (Kotak Mahindra Bank preferred) with brokerage accounts. NRI clients require separate accounts. All clients sign a PMS agreement and grant power of attorney.

When can I start/invest money?

You can start your account at any time of the year.

Investment Strategy

Where is my money going to be invested?

Funds are deployed exclusively in Indian securities. If suitable opportunities aren't available, temporary placement occurs in liquid mutual funds, fixed maturity plans, and bank balances—never in speculative or leveraged instruments.

Will the portfolio be diversified?

There will be reasonable though not excessive diversification.

Which benchmark do you choose to compare your performance with?

Jeetay targets absolute long-term returns. While portfolio composition differs from indices, Sensex comparisons show opportunity cost perspective.

Account Management

Will I have any control over my accounts?

Yes—while Jeetay operates under POA, you maintain continuous access to demat accounts via NSDL login and portfolio reports.

How often can I add to my account?

You can add funds to your account any time.

Is there any lock-in period?

No! There is no lock-in period, though a 3-5 year investment horizon is recommended.

Communication & Reporting

How often will you communicate with me?

Formal performance updates are provided semi-annually via letters, with email and phone availability anytime.

Fees & Taxes

When do I have to pay the fee?

Fee is charged to accounts on a semi-annual basis, in April and October every year.

Can I deduct this fee for tax purposes?

Consult your chartered accountant or tax advisor regarding deductibility.
